AOL Introduces AIM Beta for Windows Mobile

America Online has unveiled a new beta version of its AIM instant messaging program for the Windows Mobile platform. Onto an HTC Diamond the software performs pretty well, apart from a few minor user interface quirks. The app allows users to update their status messages and manage their buddy lists while on the go, and has a slick new look that even offers transparent effects.
