Christian Dior MobileChristian Dior has unveiled its first luxury handset, clad in red, silver, or purple. The famous French designer created the new phone together with ModeLabs, the company that stands behind other exclusive and expensive mobile devices, like the ones that were released under the brands of Levi's

The new luxury phone features an internal touchscreen display, a photo camera of unknown performances and a fashionable geometrical pattern on its shiny case.

Christian Dior fashion phone features a slim clamshell design, complete with Swavorski crystals along the hinge and on the top cover. It also has a small remote to control the music player, called My Dior. The My Dior is a headset that connects to the main phone wirelessly, allowing the user to make or receive calls. The remote is designed to clip onto the outside of a purse or bag, eliminating the need for a woman to rummage through her bag in order to answer a call.

Since it's a touchscreen phone, it expected to have many other high-end features. For example, 3G connectivity and a big internal memory.

According to Modelabs, the new luxury handset is available as of today, the 21st of May, from the Parisian Christian Dior store situated on Avenue Montaigne - a street where other famous clothing and jewelry designers have stores: Chanel, Bulgari, Valentino and so on.

The glamorous phone should be up for sale in Dior's shops within two weeks after the upcoming announcement, priced somewhere between $3,500 and $5,000 (2,230 and 3,190 Euros).
